Leaves mostly 3-foliolate, uppermost generally 1-foliolate; leaflets 5–18 × 1–3.5 mm, linear-oblanceolate, obtuse to truncate; petiole 0.5–2(4) mm long; stipules 0.

Racemes 3–12 cm long, 12–30-flowered, generally lax, upper part occasionally congested; bracts 1–2.5 mm long, linear-lanceolate to narrowly elliptic; pedicel 3–6 mm long, sometimes with minute bracteoles medially.
