More or less prostrate perennial herb; indumentum of stems, leaf-rhachides and calyx spreading.

Leaves 5–11-foliolate; stipules narrow, 3–10 mm. long; rhachis, including a petiole of up to 35 mm., up to 8 cm. long, not prolonged beyond the lateral leaflets; leaflets linear-oblong, up to 35 mm. long and 6 mm. wide, glabrous above, appressed pubescent beneath.
