Morphology General Habit
Erect or sometimes decumbent herb 10–18 cm. tall, presumably with several shoots from a woody rootstock.
Morphology Stem
Stems covered with a mixture of longer and shorter white or yellowish spreading hairs.

Morphology Reproductive morphology Inflorescences
Inflorescences axillary, 10–15-flowered; rhachis 3–7 cm. long, with white and yellowish glandular hairs mixed; peduncle 2·5–9 cm. long; pedicels 1–2 mm. long; bracts deciduous, lanceolate, 3·5–4 mm. long, 1 mm. wide.
Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Calyx
Calyx pilose and with orange glands; tube 2·5–3 mm. long; lobes narrowly triangular-lanceolate, 2·5–4 mm. long, the upper pair scarcely connate or connate for one-third of their length.
