Morphology General Habit
Stems slender, ascending or decumbent, 15–35(60) cm long, several to numerous from a taproot, appressed pubescent to pilose.

Leaflets 15–30 × 2–6 mm, mostly narrowly elliptic-oblong, the lower ones and those on decumbent shoots relatively broad, thinly to densely pilose; petiole 4–16 mm long; stipules 2–7(11) mm long, linear or linear-lanceolate.

Flowers mostly erect or resupinate, pale yellow, 1(2) on wiry leaf-opposed peduncles 0.7–2 cm long; bracts 2–5 mm long, linear; pedicels 1–3 mm long; bracteoles similar to the bract.
