Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Calyx
Calyx practically enveloping the corolla, 10–12 mm. long, ciliate on the lobes, otherwise glabrous; upper lobes broadly ovate, cordate, rather unequal-sided, very much longer than the tube.
Morphology Reproductive morphology Flowers Corolla
Standard suborbicular, clear yellow, sometimes tinged bluish or red behind and at the base inside, glabrous outside; wings broadly oblong-obovate, as long as the keel; keel strongly rounded about the middle, with a slightly incurved shortly twisted beak, 8–10 mm. long, white lanate-pubescent along the upper margin proximal to the beak.
